Construction services
At the time of product delivery, we provide product operation manuals to guide the whole process of product construction, and provide product maintenance strategies and precautions to ensure construction quality and stable use.
High productivity
Kerui refractory produces 150000 tons of sintered products and 100000 tons of unshaped refractory materials annually. The company has four plants, namely heavy bricks, light bricks, unshaped bricks and fused bricks.
Advantages of refractory bricks

Excellent heat stability
Refractory bricks can maintain stable structure and performance in high temperature environments, and have excellent high temperature resistance and thermal insulation properties.

Excellent chemical resistance
Refractory bricks are made from materials that are resistant to acids, bases, and other corrosive materials, making them ideal for chemical plants and other corrosive environments.

Low thermal conductivity
The lower the thermal conductivity of refractory bricks, the less likely they are to transfer heat, and the better their thermal insulation and energy-saving effects. With the same thickness, they have better thermal insulation effects and can effectively reduce heat transfer, thereby improving the thermal efficiency and safety of equipment.

Weight:The weight of each ceramic block is 3-kilo grams.
Dimensions :A refractory brick is manufactured in a rectangular shape. Refractory bricks range in size from 9 inches by 4 inches by 1 inch to 9 inches by 4 inches by 3 inches.
Composition : The composition of refractory blocks is as follows:
Silica : Varies from 60 to 96 percent.
Alumina :Varies from 2 to 36 percent.
Other elements (lime, magnesium, iron oxide, alkali) : Varies from 2 to 5 percent.
Colour : The refractory blocks can be yellowish to grey to red and orangish. The grey color comes from the silica, and the yellowish shade of the fire brick is from alumina.
Types of refractory bricks
Basic refractory bricks
These are good at corrosion resistance and chemical resistance. They contain high amount of magnesia and here also lime is used as a binding material.
•Magnesite brick (85% magnesium oxide + 35 % iron oxide)
•Dolomite refractory brick ( it can resist at 1400 degree celsius to 1600 degree celsius temperature)
•Bauxite refractory brick( 86 per cent bauxite)
Acid refractory bricks
Acidic fire brick, also called as acid resistant brick is used especially to resist acidic actions of chemicals or weather.
•Ordinary fire brick
•Silica bauxite (95% silica)
•Ganister brick (85% silica + 10% clay + 2% lime)
Neutral refractory bricks
These are good for both acidic and basic lining purposes. They offer good resistance against acidic fumes as well as corrosive actions.
•Chromium brick (50% chrome iron ore)
•Carborundum (temperature of 21900 degree celsius)
•Chrome magnesite brick
•Spinal brick (alumina and magnesia has equal proportion)
•Forsterite brick
Applications of refractory bricks
Metallurgical industries
Blast furnaces: Refractory bricks line the interior of blast furnaces to withstand the intense heat and mechanical stress during the smelting process.
Steelmaking furnaces: Basic refractory bricks are used in steelmaking furnaces due to their resistance to basic slags and high temperatures.
Glass manufacturing
Refractory bricks are used to construct the furnaces where raw materials are melted to form glass. The bricks must withstand the high temperatures and corrosive nature of molten glass.
Ceramics industry
Kilns used for firing ceramics are lined with refractory bricks to maintain the necessary high temperatures and protect the structure from thermal damage.
Chemical processing
Industries that involve chemical reactions at high temperatures use refractory bricks to line reactors and containment vessels, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Crack repair
For small cracks, refractory mud or repair materials can be used to fill them. First, clean the loose parts of the cracks, then fill them with repair materials, and compact them flat. For larger cracks or peeling areas, partial replacement is required to ensure that the repaired bricks are tightly combined with the surrounding bricks.
Replace worn bricks
When refractory bricks are severely worn and thinned, they should be replaced in time. When replacing, you need to clean the debris around the damaged bricks first, then carefully remove the damaged bricks and replace them with new refractory bricks to ensure that the new bricks are tightly combined with the original structure.
High temperature treatment
For refractory bricks that are deformed at high temperature, high temperature treatment can be used for repair. By heating the deformed area, it is restored to its original state. This method is suitable for refractory bricks with slight deformation.
